Point Day is one of those special sunny days in the summer months, when the good timing of a high summer tide, allows sailors the chance to set off from Morston and sail around Blakeney Point onto the deserted sandy beaches on the spit's northern side. A whole day can be spent messing around on the beautiful beach and windswept dune before catching the tide back later in the evening, sunkissed and thristy from a day well spent.
